Trip to Aveda Institute

After sitting at school for four hours, I finally got to go to Lafayette to see what Aveda Institute Lafayette has to offer. Turns out the school was amazing, and it will present me with so many amazing opportunities! I will be studying in the cosmetology department where I will learn hair design, cut, color, I will learn to apply make-up, do nails, give facials, and massages. When I finish the cosmetology part of my studies I'm debating whether I will spend an extra 6 months there to study esthiology (skin care). I really can't wait to start!!! Life is going great!!! Current Plans For the Future

Ok, so I was up all night trying to figure out which cosmetology school I can go to and figuring out how to afford it. I have decided I will go to Aveda Institute in Lafayette and live with family in the area. I will pay for it by working at S&M Outlet through January 2010. Once I've got a large down payment I will start school. I will transfer to a nearby outlet in Lafayette and use the money I make from there to pay off the rest of my tuition over the next 18 months. I am completely thrilled things are finally falling into place! Prayers are appreciated! GOD BLESS!

Spring Break!

Well the first half of my spring break was spent filling out application after application for a new job. It felt like I was going in circles. No phone calls no e-mails. It made no sense. FINALLY I went to S&M Outlet to just give it a try. I was hired on the spot! It's amazing how God works! I've now gone three days, and I have loved every minute of it! If you want a good sale come by S&M Outlet on Ryan St. We've got great clothing and home decor that give you a unique stylish appearance in your home or where ever you go! We are opened from 10AM-6PM everyday except Sundays, 1PM-6PM. Have great day! God Bless!

Colllege Life... hmm

Well, college life has been enjoyable, but I'm ready to explore new places. It's time for a real "fresh" start for once! This will be my last semester at McNeese for the time being. This summer I'll be working to afford chasing my true passion, cosmetology. I will start cosmetology school in the fall semester. I truly feel that is my calling. I feel this will give me a real opportunity to reach out to people and hopefull help people realize how great a life they can have through Christ our Lord!

Growing up is tough, but like everyone else has I will make it.
